Window Cleaning

Historically, ladders were the standard tool of the trade for window cleaners but these days you will find most window cleaners are working with their feet on the ground using telescopic water fed poles.  This is the system I use.

How does this work?

Regular tap water is full of sediments and minerals and these impurities cause spotting and streaking when regular water is left to dry on windows.  Purified water is created by using a series of filters and resins which is known as reverse osmosis and deionisation.

Telescopic water fed poles

These poles are equipped with brushes and the purified water is pumped through the brush.  Using the brush and water allows the scrubbing and rinsing of dirt, and due to pure water being used, the windows can be left to dry naturally with a with a perfect finish.

The benefits of using the water fed poles are:

·       No ladders, thus reducing the risks of injury and damage to property

·       Environmentally friendly - no pollutants to garden, property or environment

·       Improved accessibility.  I can now reach veluxes, windows above ground floor extensions and so on.

·       Improved finish – by using the brush, I am able to clean the frames, edgings and sills with ease.

Conservatory Cleaning

If you have a conservatory, I am able to clean the windows and there will be a small increase in the price.  Please note I can only clean accessible windows, thus if there is no room on one side then I will not be able to clean it.  I will clean all uPVC panels and gutters too as standard.

I can also clean roofs on requests - providing these are accessible with the telescopic pole and not requiring a ladder.

Solar Panel Cleaning

I can also clean solar panels - providing these are accessible and within reach.  I use no chemicals and simply use pure water.  To ensure optimum performance of your solar panels, it is often advised by solar panel manufacturers that these should be cleaned periodically.

I use specialist brushes for solar panels to ensure these are not scratched or damaged by hard bristles
